The EMU track teams sent a small group of runners to the SU Open in Selinsgrove, Pa., on Saturday. For the Royals it was mission accomplished, as the athletes prepared for next weekend s ODAC Championships.

The EMU men's track and field team slipped one spot in this week's regional index, moving to No. 7 in the South/Southeast. The Royals had been No. 6 in the first three listings of 2014 according to the USTFCCCA.

Alyssa Bane re-broke a school record while Drew Vrolijk and Richard Robinson won events in EMU s final tune-up for the ODAC Indoor Championships. The indoor ODAC meet is March 2 in Hampton, Va.
